Q-SYS MPA-Q Series network amplifiers have two modes of operation controlled by a rear-panel mode switch: Q-SYS Mode and Analog Mode.

To update firmware on an amplifier without a connection to a Q-SYS Core while it is in Analog Mode, you must use the Analog Mode Firmware Updater application found on this page.

How to know if a firmware update is needed:

1. The front panel display may include a message alerting you to update firmware to continue.
2. Firmware updates may become available in the future that include various product improvements and bug fixes. Check back on this page as updates become available.

Note: In Q-SYS mode when connected to a Q-SYS Core processor, the amplifier receives firmware updates automatically from the Core, requiring no further manual action.
