QSC Announces Availability of New Cloud Management Capabilities and Processing Options

Costa Mesa, Calif. (January 19, 2021) – [De, Fr, Es] – QSC is proud to announce the availability of the new Professional Tier feature set for Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager remote monitoring and management service. This advanced feature set enables both remote access to UCI’s for helpdesk applications, as well as remote system and design file update capabilities. In addition, QSC has begun shipping two recently introduced Q-SYS Core processors - the Q-SYS Core Nano, which is a purely network I/O processor and the Q-SYS Core 8 Flex, which offers network and analog I/O processing (available now in North America with availability in EMEASA in the Spring).

Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager – Professional Tier Now Available

Die neue Professional Tier Lizenz für den Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager beinhaltet zusätzliche Tools, um ein umfassendes, zentralisiertes Management für geografisch verteilte AV&C-Systeme zu realisieren und die Notwendigkeit zur Anwesenheit der Techniker vor Ort - zum Beispiel für Systemaktualisierungen - zu reduzieren. Mit der neuen Remote UCI Funktion kann über eine Benutzeroberfläche in einem Standard-Webbrowser jeder Q-SYS Core angesteuert werden, der mit Enterprise Manager verbunden ist. So kann ein zentrales Support-Team Nutzerprobleme lösen, ohne Techniker an den Standort entsenden zu müssen. Darüber hinaus erlaubt es die Funktion Remote Q-SYS Designer, jederzeit und überall Fehler zu beheben, Designdateien zu aktualisieren und bereitzustellen, ohne dass komplexe Netzwerk- oder Remote-Desktop-Konfigurationen erforderlich sind. Über den Enterprise Manager werden Firmware-Updates mithilfe des Remote Q-SYS Designers in einer nachfolgenden Softwareversion hinzugefügt.

Die Professional Tier Lizenz ergänzt die bestehenden Lizenzoptionen Basic und Standard für den Enterprise Manager und bietet Endkunden sowie Anbietern von Managed Services eine Reihe cloudbasierter Serviceoptionen für verbundene Q-SYS Systeme, um die Fernsteuerung und -überwachung zu erweitern und damit die Effizienz und Transparenz erheblich zu steigern sowie gleichzeitig mögliche Ausfallzeiten des Systems zu verringern.

New Q-SYS Core Processors Now Shipping

The new Q-SYS Core Nano and Core 8 Flex are native audio, video and control processors for the Q-SYS Ecosystem, ideal for applications with lower network channel capacity and targeted processing requirements.

The Q-SYS Core Nano offers 64 x 64 network audio I/O capacity without onboard analog I/O, making it ideal for smaller-scale installations with centralized processing and fully networked endpoints. The Q-SYS Core 8 Flex includes the network audio I/O capacity with eight onboard Flex audio channels and eight GPIOs to integrate analog I/O devices into the Q-SYS Ecosystem. Both appliance processors occupy a smaller half-width, 1RU footprint and include driverless USB AV bridging and Software-based Dante capabilities.
