QSC befördert Danny Pickett
QSC Audio Products gibt die Ernennung von Danny Pickett zum Director, Global Cinema Sales bekannt. Danny Pickett kam 2005 als Key Accounts Manager zu QSC Cinema und war dafür zuständig, europäische Kino-Betreiber für QSC Audio Produkte auszuwählen und aufzubauen. 2010 wurde er zum Cinema Sales Manager befördert und übernahm Management und Support für Kino-Betreiber weltweit. Als Director, Global Cinema Sales, wird Danny die Gesamtverantwortung für alle weltweiten Vertriebsaktivitäten sowie den technischen Support tragen. QSC Audio Products, LLC., gibt die Ernennung von John White zum Vice President, Research and Development bekannt. QSC Cinema mit neuem europäischen Warenlager
QSC Audio Products, LLC kündigt ein Vertriebszentrum für QSC Kinoprodukte auf dem europäischen Kontinent an. QSC hat DSV, einen weltweit tätigen 3PL (Third Party Logistics)-Anbieter, mit der Lagerung und dem Versand von QSC Kinoprodukten von einem Standort in Gent (Belgien) aus beauftragt. Der Standort wurde gewählt, weil er für die meisten europäischen Länder zentral liegt. Das Lager wird einen Bestand der gängigsten QSC Kinoprodukte vorhalten, sodass die europäischen Kinokunden ihre Lieferungen schneller und kostengünstiger erhalten können. Zum Zeitpunkt dieser Ankündigung befindet sich der Bestand an QSC Kinoprodukten bereits im Lager und ist versandbereit.

Colossal Sound at CinemaCon 2013
As the loudspeaker and amplifier supplier to CinemaCon 2013, QSC Audio products were used to create what might have been the largest cinema sound system ever assembled, for special studio screenings and product reels at CinemaCon 2013. CinemaCon, which convened April 15 through 18 in Las Vegas, is the official convention of NATO (National Association of Theatre Owners), and is the world’s largest cinema trade event. Each year at CinemaCon, the major motion picture distributors and studios preview their upcoming releases for this gathering of the world’s theatre owners and operators. Paul Brink unterstützt QSC
Paul Brink tritt QSC Audio Products als neuer Cinema Sales Engineer bei. In seiner neuen Rolle wird Brink für die Vertriebsunterstützung von QSC Kino-Händlern und Endkunden (Theater, Kinos, Studios, etc.) durch Produktschulungen, technischen Support und Vertrieb zuständig sein. Paul verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrungen in der Kino-Postproduktion. Er arbeitete mehrere Jahre als Systems Toningenieur für das THX Digital Mastering Programm bei Lucasfilm, Ltd.. Zu seinen Referenzen gehört Star Wars I, für den er das Telecine, die Qualitätssicherung und die Einrichtung des Kinos für die digitale Kinofassung beaufsichtigte. Vor QSC war Paul als Re-Recording Engineer/Sound Editor bei den 20th Century Fox Studios in CXSC, Kalifornien, tätig, wo er für DVD, Blu-ray, digitale Auslieferung und Archiv verantwortlich war. Costa Mesa, CA (December, 2012) – QSC Audio Products has been named one of the Top Orange County Workplaces for the third year in a row, according to the daily newspaper, The Orange County Register. The responses were based upon anonymous survey results from almost 20,000 employees from various companies surveyed throughout the region. For the survey, employees were asked to respond anonymously to 20 statements about their workplace experience and the leadership at their company. The company rankings were then independently calculated by survey firm WorkplaceDynamics based upon the employees responses to these statements – so the results are truly based on employee feedback. 15 large companies, 25 midsize companies, and 50 small workplaces made the list of the Top O.C.
